Life Lately Vol. 1 Memories and Realizations

Why are memories so important to people?

 I’ve been doing a lot of cleaning lately and discovered that my photo albums were being eaten away by insects (?) so I decided to look for a new photo album to transfer my pictures on. Luckily, I found this cute thrift/novelty shop in Antipolo where I bought this photo album for P200.00. The original price was P250.00 but I had a 20% discount so I got it cheaper. It was perfect for my pictures.

 Looking through the photos while I was organizing them I came to realize a lot of things.

Time flies by so fast. I used to be a carefree kid. The only things we need to worry about is mama getting mad for us making a mess or when we get hungry. But now I can’t even start the LONG list of things we stress about. Don’t even get me started with the long list of bills. (Adulting, yikes!)

Not everyone can/will stay. I keep pictures I had with special people in my life, even those who used to be. I realized that we never really know if the next time we check on our photo albums if all the people in the pictures you see will still be a part of your life by then. May it be their personal decision to leave, or if it was their time to go. This is why we need to cherish the time we have with them and to make them feel how important they are so that we will never have regrets.

Memories are forever. This is probably the reason why memories are so important to us, everything may change but never memories. They make us smile, they may make us cry too. Yet it’s always something that we can hold on to when the only thing that is constant in life is change.

Continue to live and make good memories.

Yesterday, me and my team mates had dinner at Vikings Megamall since we had team money that we won last April because of our good performance at work.

This is my second time to dine there and it never fails to amaze me. The food selection is just so huge I couldn’t barely comprehend it (WOW). Man, I swear I would’ve tried everything if I could have. 

I couldn’t even finish all the food I grabbed. And today officially marks the start of my diet… or is it?

They are 2 months old now and are pure aspins (Asong Pinoy, local mixed breed dogs in the Philippines). I had them posted on my Facebook Page to look for kind-hearted people to adopt them because we cannot afford to have more dogs. Just last Saturday, Pupper 2 was adopted and the other 2 will be adopted this week too. I didn’t even name them because I don’t want to get too attached but I’m already crying T_T Anyway,it’s all for the best.
