My 2019 Goals

It had been a long 2018 but it seemed to be too short to complete our goals and aspirations for the year. There’s been a lot of setbacks for 2018 and some goals I wasn’t able to accomplish but this new year gives us a chance to reach them and maybe even make ourselves better. 2018 has been an unexpected year for me, I gained a lot of new dear friends and lost some that used to mean a lot. There’s also been great opportunities presented and blessings given. I can say I’ve grown a lot and learned a lot from last year and 2019 is going to be better. As my best friend always says, this is our year, we just need to strive hard and put our hearts into it. That is why I made a list of goals to accomplish this year that will make 2019 MY awesome year.

Mercury Drug Suki Planner 2019

Last year, this planner has been the talk of the town and it was hard to get one after getting viral all over social media. It didn’t get the limelight this year after Limelight’s 2019 Planner caught the attention of the media (did you see what I did there? Lol). Nonetheless, the Mercury Suki Planner did not disappoint this year and still is one of the best planners around.

Namu Life Snail White Facial Jelly Wash Review

Around the last quarter of 2018, I only cleansed my face using any color of Safeguard (a local anti-bacterial bath soap) and we all know it isn’t healthy for the face but I don’t know why I kept using it. LOL. Around October I decided to hunt for a proper facial wash and ended up at Watson’s. I was planning to get a Cetaphil cleanser when this beauty caught my eye. I’ve been hearing a lot of good reviews about Snail White and I wanted to try it for myself. It has been 3 months that I’ve been using it and here is my review. 

9 Lives Game – No, these cats don’t explode.

I was looking through the Indie Games Booths at ESGS 2018 when this game immediately caught my eye. Because why not?? IT’S A GAME ABOUT CATS! WE ALL LOVE CATS! (or maybe not). Anyway, I sat down and threatened the booth person with his life to play with me (no I didn’t threaten him, don’t bring me to jail). He was really nice and patiently taught me how the game works. His name is Yves Suiza by the way, the game is his brainchild but was produced by a team called Promeworks (also headed by himself). The game is the team’s pilot project.

Althea Pore Purifying Serum Cleanser Review

I have always wanted to have my own 10-step Korean beauty routine but who am I kidding, I don’t even have the time to finish 5. So I always go for products that are convenient with multiple benefits. I look for products that specialize with treating pores. I have naturally enlarged pores, they have been like that since I reached puberty, and they aren’t the ones that are caused by acne scars, I think it runs in the blood (since my dad also has them). I hate it, I’d do anything to minimize them and I think I found the right product for it. I received a Pore Purifying Serum Cleanser from Althea and I’ve been using it for a week now.

Althea did an exciting collaboration with Indonesia’s top movie star and singer Titi Kamal a produced Althea’s first body mist. Titi Kamal rose to prominence after securing a role I one of Indonesia’s best films from the 2000’s, Ada Apa Dengan Cinta? (What’s Up with Love?).

The Best Planner for 2019 – Limelight 365 Days of Awesome

In a few weeks this year is coming to an end and we all know what that means—FOOD—*cough* I mean we are approaching the year of the Earth Pig, which means a new year, a new set of resolutions NOT to follow and a new year to waste. Okay, I’m sorry, we should be optimistic here lol.

What better way to prepare for the New Year but to have your 2019 planner ready. Planners are essential to me because a lot of things happen and I go around a lot being a blogger and all, and I always want to plan them ahead by writing them down on my handy dandy planner. It took me a while to hunt for the perfect planner.

An officemate who went to Korea this year came back with loads of K-Beauty Products. I happen to be looking for a good exfoliator that time and she was selling one of these. I am always in doubt with peeling products because I think they don’t really do a great job in peeling (and at times it doesn’t really 'peel' at all) but this one did an awesome job!
