Sprinkle the Sparkles: Tokyo Treat June 2026: Tokyo Throwback

Tokyo Treat's Box this month is filled with nostalgia with their Tokyo Throwback box. They are taking us back to retro Tokyo that reminds us of sweet memories, cool sounds and our childhood anime! It reminds me of film cameras, cassette tapes and neon lights.

Let's open the box and see what Tokyo Treat has to offer this month!

Going through this box reminds me of animes I used to watch as a kid, such as Inu Yasha, Dragon Ball Z, Sailor Moon, Yu Yu Hakusho, Rurounin Kenshin, songs like Stay With Me by Miki Matsubara and Plastic Love by Mariya Takeuchi, and it gives that very nostalgic feeling.

These are some of my favorites from the box:

I love KitKats, but they can usually be a hit and miss for me. But this one is definitely a good one. I am a collector of banana flavored food and this is the first time I've tried the KitKat banana flavor and it's definitely a hit for me. Most of the time, banana flavored food can taste very artificial, but this one really captured the natural banana flavor.

Their Mixed Juice Gummies takes me back to Japan Showa Era with it's sweet, gentle flavor and the packaging is just so charming! I definitely didn't devour the whole pack in one sitting... definitely not.

I am a sucker for cute packaging and it's quite obvious why I love this one aside from the fact that it's ramune flavored candies! It's such a fun packaging!
