Antipolo Cosplayers at #MetroGivesBack: A Charity Program

I have been cosplaying for more than 6 years now and have met a lot of friends along the way (which is another story to tell) and of course include my Antipolo Cosplayers family. Antipolo Cosplayers Association Inc. is a non-profit organization with the purpose of reaching out to the growing cosplay community and aims to promote Cosplaying as not only a form of art but as means of helping other people. This is the reason why we took part on Super Metro Antipolo’s  #MetroGivesBack: Charity Program.

Viscal Foundation and Metro Retails Stores Group Inc. along with Antipolo Cosplayers Assoc. Inc. distributed school kits donated by Super Metro Antipolo’s customers and employees to the energetic and lovely pupils of Dela Paz Elementary School Antipolo last July 26, 2018.

Not only were the pupils happy to receive their school kits, but they were delighted to meet their favorite cartoon and anime characters.

The school was brighter than ever because of the children’s smiles and laugher as they danced “Bboom Bboom” and “Baby Shark” with the cosplayers lead by Ashley Misaki in her Optimus Prime costume.

I have always believed that happiness doesn’t result from what we get, but from what we give. And I’m sure this will not be the last time that Antipolo Cosplayers will lend a helping hand for the greater good.

Only by giving are you able to receive more than you already have.
